Category: How-to Guides
Rerolls recycled dice are built for the table, not the shelf. We bust common myths about eco friendly RPG dice and show how to care for your Re-growth set.
Quick answer
Rerolls recycled dice are made to be rolled, not preserved. Treat your Re-growth set like any working dice set: use it, clean it gently, and store it dry.
Why recycled dice myths persist
Recycled materials often carry assumptions from other products. With dice, the practical questions are simpler: does the set hold up to normal play, and does caring for it require special steps? The answers depend on the actual set in front of you, not on the label alone.
What the Re-growth set actually claims
The catalog describes Rerolls as recycled dice with a purpose, tied to a druid-themed story of restoring land. That framing is about the set's identity and materials, not a promise of indestructibility. Use that as your baseline: it is a dice set meant for play, with an environmental angle.
Myth verdicts for Re-growth recycled dice
- Myth: Recycled dice are fragile and should stay on the shelf.: Verdict: Not supported. The Re-growth set is described as recycled dice with a purpose, and the catalog presents it as a usable set, not a collectible to keep boxed. Roll it as part of your normal kit.
- Myth: Eco friendly RPG dice need special cleaning routines.: Verdict: No special routine is stated. Use the same gentle care you would for any dice set: wipe with a soft cloth and avoid soaking.
- Myth: You can judge recycled dice durability from the recycling label alone.: Verdict: The label does not tell you how the set will wear. The catalog does not list material specs or test results, so base your expectations on normal use and inspect your set after heavy sessions. Check edges and faces periodically rather than assuming.
- Myth: Sustainable dice set care means sealing or coating the dice.: Verdict: Not stated and not needed. Store the set dry, keep it out of direct sun, and let it air after play.
