Compare Mythica Gold Aquamarine and Avalore Plated dice sets: weight, finish, and price. Find which metal dice set fits your RPG style.
Quick Answer
Choose Mythica Gold Aquamarine if you want a hefty, premium-feel metal dice set with a unique sparkle; choose Avalore Plated Soulscorcher if you prefer a lightweight, affordable option that still looks like a mythical alloy.
Weight and Feel: Heft vs Lightness
The biggest difference between these two 7pc RPG sets is how they feel in your hand. Mythica Gold Aquamarine is a solid metal dice set with excellent heft and an authoritative feel when rolling. Avalore Plated Soulscorcher, on the other hand, is light as a sunbeam dancing on the leaves, making it easy to carry and roll without tiring your wrist.
If you love the satisfying clatter of heavy dice on a table, Mythica delivers that weight. If you prefer something you can roll for hours without fatigue, Avalore is the lighter choice.
Finish and Appearance: Sparkle vs Gleam
Mythica Gold Aquamarine combines a Shiny Gold plating with a light blue color, creating a greenish and pronounced sparkle that stands out. Avalore Plated Soulscorcher has a red finish with black ink, evoking a warrior's gleaming armor and a fantastical, mythical alloy look.
Your choice depends on your character's vibe: Mythica's sparkle suits a magical or celestial theme, while Avalore's red-and-black gleam fits a battle-hardened or fiery persona.
Price and Value: Investment vs Budget
Mythica Gold Aquamarine is priced at $32.47 (compared to $49.95), reflecting its solid metal construction and premium finish. Avalore Plated Soulscorcher is only $10.95 (compared to $17.95), making it an accessible entry into metal dice.
If you're a dedicated player who wants a long-lasting, weighty set, the Mythica price is justified. If you're new to metal dice or want a backup set without spending much, Avalore is a smart budget pick.
